Tom Baugh

Tom Baugh is an entrepreneur, inventor and professional irritant.
A former Marine, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1988 with a degree in Control Systems Engineering. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, and holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech earned as an Air Force Laboratory Graduate Fellow after leaving the USMC.
While employed at McDonnell Douglas he authored patents on fractal designs and networked voice communications. He has been operating his own businesses since 1996, and has provided development tools and consulting services to thousands of clients worldwide.
He is the author of Starving the Monkeys: Fight Back Smarter, a playbook for individualists. He has been invited to speak at Libertarian events such as the Free State Project’s 2010 Liberty Forum, where, as an opening speaker, he threw out some of his special cuts of raw meat to fire up the crowd before breaking into working sessions.
He currently lives in rural Georgia where he researches alternate energy and agribusiness technology, and develops course materials. His other business, SoftBaugh, provides leading edge development tools and evaluation systems to thousands of clients and customers worldwide. He homeschools his children, and designs his course materials to give homeschoolers and other independent thinkers a path to academic and professional success not attainable in government-funded schools.
Called Dr. Bad News by some, he is dedicated to destroying the forces which are destroying the hard-working and independent people of our great country. Your time will come.
