* Congress Asleep as Biden Makes War on Yemen – Ron Paul.
* Two weeks ago, Biden started a new US war on the tiny country of Yemen. US warships and fighter jets launched more than a hundred missiles at the country in a massive escalation that the Administration bizarrely claimed would “de-escalate” tensions in the Red Sea.
“Taking the US to war without a Congressional declaration of war is a grave crime against the Constitution. Not only did Biden show no interest in coming to Congress for a war declaration, he didn’t even ask for authorization.
* Ron Paul: “The Framers of the Constitution gave war-making power to Congress because they understood that leaving such power in the hands of one person was a recipe for disaster. The role of the president is to make the case for a war declaration. Congress deliberates and either authorizes or refuses the proposed action.”

* Highland City Council to Allow Alcohol Sales
studies show how the rate of violent crime is higher in areas of a community where alcohol is sold. One person described how busy the police are at night conveying (intoxicated or confrontational or violent) people to the county jail.
* The New American Freedom Index, which scores how each member of Congress voted on ten key issues in the past three months – The freedom index is issued (updated) four times a year – TheNewAmerican.com
The average score for the House and Senate is 33% and 34%, respectively.
In this index, there are 20 representatives and 3 senators who scored 100% on the index. And that is an improvement over previous years.
* If you are not reading the Freedom Index each quarter, please begin to do so. The more you know about the voting record of your members of Congress, the more likely they are to vote with the Constitution.
* The 20 representatives who scored 100% on the Freedom Index: Crane and Biggs from Arizona; Gaetz, Luna, Steube, and Donalds from Florida; Greene of Georgia; Fulcher of Idaho; Massie of Kentucky; Rosendale of Montana; Bishop of North Carolina; Brecheen of Oklahoma; Perry of Pennsylvania; Burchett and Ogles of Tennessee; Roy and Cloud of Texas; Good and Cline of Virginia; Tiffany of Wisconsin.
* The 3 senators who scored 100% on the Freedom Index [I bet you can guess two of them with your eyes closed]: Braun of Indiana; Paul of Kentucky; and Lee of Utah.
